Voice Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, development and operation of the network nodes supporting:
- mobile & fixed voice services
- online charging systems
- interconnections with other national and international operators
- Management of suppliers and subcontractors providing products and services related to the voice network
- Specification and documentation of engineering, operations and change management procedures for the network and the voice services
- 2nd level support for network and subscribers’ problems
Necessary Skills:
- Very good knowledge and experience in technologies and protocols used in the mobile and fixed telephony services:
- Signaling protocols (SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, Diameter etc.)
- Mobile and IMS core network nodes (GMSC, HLR/HSS, PCSCF, SBC etc.)
- Good understanding in Cloud & Virtualization (NFV) technologies
- Good understanding of IP networks and related protocols
Necessary Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in technology projects related to mobile and/ or fixed voice services
- University Degree or relevant, in Engineering/Technology/Informatics
- Experience in interconnections of Network Operators
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Strong team spirit and collaboration
