We are looking for a business systems support engineer to provide added value to our organization by co-managing our core business applications and supporting key end users. In this role, you should have a background in software applications (e.g. ERP, CRM, Billing) administration and support. You should be a professional with at least 3 years of experience within medium to large IT environments and have confidence with DB operations. If you also have a business mindset and orientation to results, we’d like to meet you.

Position responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain standard and custom modifications to the company’s Business Applications and Databases: CRM, Billing, ERP, Customer Portals, Payments, Call Centers and other business-specific applications
  • Maintain existing interfaces, flows and create new as necessary, in collaboration with Business Applications’ Vendors
  • Maintain application users directory. Create and modify roles with specific levels of access
  • Support users in their day-to-day interaction with the company’s Software Applications
  • Troubleshoot and investigate software applications’ malfunctions/delays on a 1st and 2nd level, minimizing downtime
  • Monitor performance and support operation of Business Systems
  • Create and extract reports, as necessary. Develop and maintain data integration. Assist with data cleansing activities
  • Implement and support ETL actions among internal systems and external entities
  • Create and maintain system and user documentation. Plan and effectively conduct key end user training sessions
  • Support users on the execution of UATs. Support testing, validation, and documentation as necessary
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and internal customers at all levels. Provide organizational support to project initiatives (preparing agendas, presentations, and reports, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, etc.)
  • Play a key role on all systems/data migration projects reassuring delivery according to requirements. Supervise and validate implementations of Vendors

Technical Qualifications:

  • 3+ years prior experience working in Software Applications Support role
  • Must have deep knowledge on how Enterprise Architectures and Software Systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, Billing, Payment flows) work to support Business
  • Must have worked with and supported users on heavy and well-known Business Applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with specialization in Software. Master’s degree will be considered as a plus
  • Excellent SQL, T-SQL and Reporting skills. Confident with data manipulation. BI environments knowledge will be considered as a plus
  • Confidence with APIs, JSON, XML messaging

  • Ability to interpret business to technical and vice-versa
  • Excellent communication skills. Willingness to happily interact with users and Software Vendors on a day-to-day basis
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills. Analytical thinking
  • Can-do attitude. Fast learner. Focus on the big picture
  • Good organizational and project management skills and ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
  • Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously working in multiple projects with different deadlines
  • Experience in Energy Retail sector will be considered as a plus
  • Excellent command of the English language
